Jalli kattu :- It is one the dangerous sport in India. It is desi version of Spainsh bull fight. It is banned by supreme court of India. This sport is played at the time of Pongal in Tamilnadu. In this game participants try to tame angry bull to win hand of girl for marriage .
Dahi Handi :- It involves making a human pyramid and breaking an earthen pot filled with curd tied at a convenient height. A participant in this festival is called "GOVINDA or GOVINDA PATHAK". There is a considerable risk of serious, life threatening injuries inherent to human pyramid formation and descent slope. In 2012, over 225 "govindas" were
injured with one casualty; this was higher than the previous year's 205. The Bombay high court later ruled in august that minimum age should be above 18 years and height of the pyramid should not be more than 20 feet due to safety reasons
Yubi-Lapki :- Yubi-lapki is a game which got its origin from manipur. this game is played like football but here instead of football coconuts are used. this game also looks similarly like rugby. yubi lapki means "snatching coconut" in manipuri language.
Kambala :- It is an annual Buffalo Race held
traditionally under the auspices local land lords and households or Patel of village, in coastalKarnataka India. The Kambala season generally
starts in November and lasts until March. Since the last two decades nearly 18
kambalas are held under the banner of Kambala Samithi (Kambala Association). As
of now, more than 45 he-buffalo races are held annually in Coastal Karnataka,
even in smaller remote villages kambala is organised. People place massive bets on the baffaloes to win and one can witness more than 20,000 spectators in well organised Kambala game
